A Long Overdue House Update!

Things are moving again! Sometimes you have the motivation and sometimes you don’t! But after a busy summer, the motivation is back! At the moment we are on with finishing the open plan kitchen/dining room/living room/playroom, i.e. the family room, with all things accessories, artwork, photo frames, cushions and candles. It’s my favourite part.

We are also looking at finishing off our utility and downstairs toilet, deciding on colours, panelling and tiles (with a bit of decorating and DIY boxing bits in/completing skirting boards too.)

We are also moving our nearly 2-year-old into a big girl room soon, as we have another baby due! So, the plan is to turn the spare room into a big girl room and update the nursery for baby boy. This is a reminder of what the nursery looks like at the moment, we are thinking of replacing the pink with an olive green and have a few other updates planned. As far as the spare room being updated, my Pinterest board is currently a varied mix of all the things I’ve seen and love, but not all go together, so decisions need to be made!

So, there is a lot to come, and the past few weeks have been full of samples and browsing online at interiors. Mainly wallpaper and tile samples as I find this is a good place to start. I have listed some of the newer brands I have come across, as I always find it so difficult to find the good ones.
